This is one of the most frequently asked questions I answer from campaign models and clients.
The answer is YES and YES! This is a must! As I have frequently stated before…”If gorgeous color were as simple as coming in a box…everyone would have it!” These two statements may leave you dazed and confused, but please allow me to clarify.
Over the past 20 years I have used almost every color brand under the sun… professional and over the counter. The secret to producing gorgeous results lies in a combination of posessing a knowledge of color theory, the understanding of different hair textures and knowing the prior history of what is lying underneath. When these elements co-incide it is possible to create gorgeous and flawless color results.
I am not saying that occasionally I need to doctor up these campaigns with my special balance of highlights and double glazing to create spectacular shine. What I am saying is…beware…the days of the professional when hearing the words “home hair color”… turning a sour face …making their client feel guilty and charging triple are becoming recognized by the intelligent consumer to look elsewhere.
The modern women can notice the difference between a colorist with an ulterior $$ motive and a colorist with a sincere concern for them to always look their best.
Think long term as a professional and trust my advice….especially in these economic times and the advancements made in the home hair color market. The gap in the bridge is continually becoming smaller…but will never replace a genuine colorist’s ability to gain trust and the long term relationship with their client..only when you truly have one’s best interest at heart.

We are extremely proud to introduce the Patrick Melville Spa department!
Patrick and I have carefully chosen experienced wellness specialists. We both can give true testimonials as we have seen and experienced the healing hands of our amazing acupuncturist, Juhi Singh, instant results with revolutionary Micro Current technology facials by Anna Marie, and Paula’s rejuvinating, homemade herbal coffee-mint facial. All a must try! Also, don’t forget to try a Thai massage by Anka, performed with a combination of stretching and massage on a floor mat.
